A Fuschia Dress in Fall

It is hard to find a fault about this dress…

The pros:

  • comfy
  • flattering
  • amazing color
  • pretty with my green eyes
  • easy

This dress doesn’t care how much you are planning on eating (a great Thanksgiving dress, really), what state your upper arms are in (because mine are exactly the opposite of how Michelle Obama’s are), or what your skin tone is (I’ve seen it look great on all shades). This is the ultimate “I woke up like this” dress. No fuss. Style it up or down for the day. Good for work, good for brunch, good for party, good for casual chillin with the boyfriend. Wear it with a belt, a blazer, a denim jacket, heels, booties, even sneakers- the dress will not care what you pair it with because it will always look great. DGAF Dress FTW.

Here’s how I’d style it for Thanksgiving: add a blazer (or cardigan) and something scrumptious in hand.

This photo is trying to psych you out into thinking that maybe I have a short, sleek, Princess-Diana-meets-Emma-Watson hair do. Well, I don’t. But I’m starting to think maybe I should…

How great does this color look on my eyes???

Joe got a great picture of his car in the background. It’s ok, we still love him because look at what a great job he did as photographer! He’s learnin’ quite well. Thanks boyfriend/unpaid intern!

Dress: by Carmakoma (one of my favorite brands) at Hey Gorgeous!
Boots: Kork-Ease at Nordstrom (very comfortable!)
Earrings: By Boe at Hey Gorgeous!

I also wore this to a wedding reception and it was a huge hit. Easy to dance in, easy to eat in, camouflages wine spills well, and got me lots of compliments.
